Justice League vs. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Crossover Comic

Posted by TDR - Wednesday, October 12, 2016

A recent announcement put out by DC Comics states that the next crossover project for Boom Studios following Lumberjanes/Gotham Academy along with Green Lantern/Planet of the Apes is that of a rather unusual comics crossover. DC's all-star superhero team The Justice League, consisting of some of the most iconic superheroes of all time such as Superman and Batman, will be crossing over with the popular '90s dinosaur-themed television show Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, which has been all over the Internet lately after the release of the first trailer for the new reboot film.

Writing this comic mini-series will be Tom Taylor (Injustice: Gods Among Us) with artist Stephen Byrne (Justice League of America Rebirth: The Ray). The plot will involve Zack the Black Ranger crossing into the DC Universe and the Power Rangers attempting to save him from Batman.

Boom Studios DC Comics
Strangest crossover yet?

This is rather strange as the difference in power sets really make you question how something like this could possibly work when you have superheroes like Superman and The Flash who can make short work out of the Rangers. A crossover like the recent Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mini-series just made sense and blended together seamlessly as both sets of heroes and villains were similar and different enough to create a story where both shine equally. That isn't the case here. Those martial arts and giant robots can only get one so far when they have the Speed Force or a strong Kryptonian to deal with, especially since Superman has a track record of punching giant robots.

DC Superman Animated Series images
Is this even a fair fight?

However, it can be said that the Ranger powers are rooted in magic—a known weakness of Superman's—and that the Yellow Ranger could prove herself to be difficult to Green Lantern due to the "yellow impurity" Parallax concept. Only time will tell how this crossover will play out in January 2017.

With these issues, readers can also expect a variant cover by different artists, pairing each member of the Justice League with a Power Ranger:

  • Batman/Pink Ranger by Dan Hipp
  • Cyborg/Blue Ranger by Dustin Nguyen
  • The Flash/Black Ranger by Yasmine Putri
  • Green Lantern John Stewart/Yellow Ranger by Marguerite Sauvage
  • Superman/Green Ranger by Chris Sprouse
  • Wonder Woman/Red Ranger by Marcus To

So what do you think of the prospect of a Justice League/Power Rangers crossover? What do you think should go into it? Let us know in the comments below!

Marvel's Iron Fist NYCC Teaser Trailer First Impressions

Posted by Anthony Mango - Saturday, October 8, 2016

The Marvel camp released some new information today about the Netflix series, including the reveal that Sigourney Weaver will be the lead villain in The Defenders as well as the New York Comic Con teaser trailer for the upcoming Iron Fist.

Normally, I would be doing a Trailer Reaction video for this sort of thing, but time is escaping me, so we'll have to settle for option #2: a first-impressions review breakdown.

HITS:

  • Madame Gao! I was hoping she would return. She's a badass.
  • I already hate the Meachums in just a few flashes, so that's good.
  • Seeing Danny's hand glow yellow is great, as it means they're not going to ignore that power aspect.
  • The same goes for the Iron Fist logo on his chest.
  • Colleen Wing looks like she'll be this show's answer to Misty Knight and Elektra mixed together, which is how I was hoping she would be. I'm not super familiar with the character, but from what I do know, she shouldn't be a pushover, so that's good to see her kicking some ass.

MISSES:

  • No look at the costume. Sad face.
  • I still don't quite get how this will feel as gritty as the previous three shows, but I trust them to prove me wrong. This trailer just didn't do that, however.
  • I'm not digging the curly hair and beard look.
  • This didn't "wow" me like the Luke Cage or Daredevil teasers did. I'm left wanting more rather than being pumped, even though I didn't dislike what I saw.

K'un-Lun saved him. Lei Kung trained him. And now, Danny Rand is back to fight for what's his.

Marvel's Iron Fist will premiere on Netflix on March 17, 2017.

Showrunner: Scott Buck
Written by: Scott Buck and Scott Reynolds
Starring: Finn Jones (Danny Rand / Iron Fist), Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing), Lewis Tan (Zhou Cheng), David Wenham (Harold Meachum), Jessica Stroup (Joy Meachum), Simone Missick (Misty Knight) and Tom Pelphrey (Ward Meachum)

When Luke Cage just came out but you already want to see the next Netflix show.

The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers are scheduled for a big-budget blockbuster reboot coming to theaters March 24, 2017. Recently, Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for the upcoming film for New York Comic Con, resulting in a much-renewed interest in the beloved '90s franchise not seen since the Joseph Kahn and Adi Shankar R-rated short film Power/Rangers from early 2015.

After an initial viewing, it presented a much different tone compared to the bombastic children's television show. The general consensus being that it's "The Breakfast Club meets Chronicle."

Saban Lionsgate Power Rangers
It's Morphin' Time!
Set to "I Walk the Line" by Halsey, we see glimpses of all the soon-to-be Rangers and their lives before they are granted their powers. According to the marketing website Angel Grove High School, Jason Lee Scott (Dacre Montgomery) was a dedicated student and star athlete on and off the field; a leader among teammates and peers. This isn't much different from the previous interpretation of the character played by Austin St. John in the original series. However, as the trailer shows, Jason was involved in some sort of joyriding accident that has gotten him into trouble with the police, resulting in him wearing an ankle monitor.

Next, we see Kimberly Hart (Naomi Scott). While Amy Jo Johnson's original Pink Ranger was a gymnast, this version of Kimberly seems to be former cheerleader royalty, but something has happened to take that away from her. She decides to take a different direction in her life, abandoning her uniform, cutting her hair, and transitioning to a much more rebellious phase.

For both Kimberly and Jason, it will be interesting to see what caused their respective arcs to go this route. Even more interesting is the implied romance between the two, as fans of the series are more familiar with Kimberly instead being in a relationship with Tommy Oliver. Both the Twilight and The Hunger Games franchises prominently featured love triangles, so will we see #TeamJason and #TeamTommy when the sequel comes around?

Saban Lionsgate Power Rangers Twilight Hunger Games
And Power Rangers joins the bunch?

RJ Cyler plays the Blue Ranger Billy Cranston, taking over for David Yost. He is depicted as "whip-smart and sweet" as well as "the most pure-hearted of the group" yet again, keeping in tune with what we expected. Sources say Billy's side-hobby is fossil hunting, which explains why he would carry around dynamite as seen in the trailer. He is also depicted as the one getting bullied in school before having one of the two moments that echo Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man film's "budding powers" scenes. While Jason's is the mysterious addition of abs, Billy's is the comeuppance of the bully when he's being picked on. He gets what's coming to him. It seems like a good amount of the movie's humor will be coming from Billy.

Not much is shown of Ludi Lin—the new Black Ranger, Zack Taylor. The TV counterpart played by Walter Jones was always the cool kid in Angel Grove, which may be the case here, albeit tweaked. Official character descriptions depict him as "filled with bravado and swagger. He is tough and cool on the exterior, but has many layers beyond his fearless appearance. Zack advertises everything about himself except the truth, which makes him feel deeply inferior to all his peers."

The new girl to Angel Grove is Trini Kwan (Becky G, previously portrayed by Thuy Trang). One of her primary hardships is that her parents constantly move for work, making her somewhat of a loner who can never truly form any friendships. She's been described as "self-sufficient, contemplative, but always observant." It was a rather neat Easter egg to see her wearing a t-shirt bearing the same year Thuy Trang was born.

Easter Eggs!
The trailer also offers a quick look at our new Rita Repulsa, played by Elizabeth Banks. In just one line of her saying she's "killed Rangers before," her version of the classic villain is presented as much more of a genuine threat instead of the cartoonish one from the television series. It also indicates there is a much bigger universe where possibly the team's mentor Zordon (Bryan Cranston) was a Ranger once before.

Saban Lionsgate Power Rangers Elizabeth Banks Becky G
This never happened in the TV show!

Unfortunately, we did not get a look at the Zords, the suits in action, or even Zordon and Bill Hader's take on Alpha 5 just yet. Perhaps another trailer will be released closer to the holidays where merchandise can play a factor.

Check out the official teaser trailer for yourself and tell us what you think about it in the comments below!

NYCC 2016: WWE Partners with TMNT for Ninja Superstars Toy Line

Posted by Anthony Mango - Friday, October 7, 2016

Photo by Mike Paden of Fanboys Anonymous
Anyone who follows Fanboys Anonymous should also be fully aware by now about its sister website Smark Out Moment, which revolves around the world of professional wrestling. Well, those two worlds are crossing over yet again as it was announced today at New York Comic Con 2016 that WWE will be partnering up with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a brand new toy line.

Playmates Toys is developing the "Ninja Superstars" line of action figures which will be a collaboration between various characters from the TMNT series alongside different WWE wrestlers. The figures are 6" tall and of course come with a variety of weapons that both ends of the spectrum should recognize. Trash cans aren't just something used in Extreme Rules matches, after all.

So far, we have a look at the four turtle protagonists mashed up with arguably four of the top ten stars in the entire wrestling business:

From left to right, we have "Raphael/Sting," "Leonardo/John Cena," "Donatello/Undertaker," and "Michelangelo/Macho Man Randy Savage."

In their own way, these make a lot of sense. John Cena has been the figurehead of the company for a decade, and Leonardo is the leader. You can justify The Undertaker's old purple connection to tie him into Donny's mask. Randy Savage was a bright and colorful character, so he fits Mikey much better than someone else. Raphael and Sting both have had that loner vigilante-type character, too.

Noticeably absent are a few names that I would have expected to see incorporated in some fashion. Hulk Hogan not being involved makes a lot of sense, due to his position being on the outs of the company after his whole sex tape scandal, but his over-the-top ring gear and massive popularity would have been a great resource to draw inspiration from. Maybe he could have been their Splinter hybrid by giving the wise rat a do-rag and styling his hair to fit The Hulkster's?

Also, if we don't get a Sheamus/Rocksteady mashup, then that's a travesty. As much as I complain about Sheamus all the time, I think he was actually one of the best parts of the most recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows film. He literally portrayed the character on screen, so that needs to carry over. It just makes too much sense.

My guess is The Rock is too popular of a brand on his own to be able to work in this capacity, whereas Stone Cold Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar likely passed on something that would downgrade their image—or there's some kind of impending announcement that Lesnar will be merged with the Technodrome and Austin will be the new Shredder or something…unless that's going to be where Triple H pops up, even though we all know Kevin Nash is the only one to truly be considered for that role.

The kid in me who was a big fan of both of these properties is of course smiling about the idea, but I'm curious what you have to say. What are some other hybrids you'd like to see? Should Baxter Stockman be merged with Big Show? Can we can an April O'Neil and Stephanie McMahon?

Drop your comments below and stay tuned for more NYCC 2016 talk.

NYCC 2016: Marvel's The Punisher Netflix Series Casting Announcements

Posted by The Dace Man - Thursday, October 6, 2016

What's up Dacetacular Nation? Do you smell it? It's that time of year again! New York Comic Con is here and as always some of the hottest news breaks on the Internet the same day Comic Con kicks off!

Latest Rumors and news about The Punisher

If you're a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you're part of the majority, and if not…what the hell is wrong with you? News broke earlier this week as well as today on Marvel's Punisher series coming to Netflix.

The first bit of news was blatantly obvious if you're trolling around New York: production began on the series. There have been several photos snapped of leading man Jon Berenthal as well as the familiar face of Deborah Ann Woll reprising her role as Karen Page from Daredevil.

The second bit of news released today was the addition of three other actors just signed to the series. Ben Barnes of The Chronicles of Narnia fame was cast as Billy Russo, Frank's best friend from the Special Forces who runs the successful military corporation Anvil.

Another addition was Ebon Moss-Bachrach from the show Girls who formerly worked for the NSA and has some information valuable to Mr. Castle. Lastly, they added Amber Rose Revah (Indian Summers, Son of God) who appears to be the female lead and a possible love interest for Frank.

So there you have it—the first chunk of news from the Marvel camp coming out of the largest convention on the East Coast, New York Comic Con 2016.

Remember, keyboard warriors: leave your feedback! What do you think of this casting news? Will Ben Barnes go full-on Jigsaw in this season or will that be saved for later? What other characters do you hope make an appearance on the show?

Until the next time, for the few, the proud, and, of course, the Dacetacular, grab a beer—and in this case, your punishment—and check out what's going on here in the Dace-Sphere at Fanboys Anonymous. See ya next time!

Welcome to another edition of Wed, Bed, or Dead—the Fanboys Anonymous equivalent to games such as Marry/Fuck/Kill, or "Kill, Bang, Marry" or any of those other alternative names with the same "would you rather" ranking concept.

If you're unfamiliar with these games, here are the rules: three men or women will be pitted against each other and you are forced to place each of them into a specific category of your choosing. You cannot double up on any category, replace people, or anything else. You must pick one to "Wed" (marry), one to "Bed" (have sex with), and for "Dead" (kill)—in theory, of course.

Marry Fuck Kill Luke Cage Netflix Season 1 who would you bang kill marry

Wed, Bed, or Dead: Luke Cage Netflix Season 1 Romances
Claire Temple vs. Misty Knight vs. Reva Connors

Having just binge-watched all of season 1 of Marvel's Luke Cage television series on Netflix, there are three major love interests the main character deals with over the course of the 13 episodes. Of course, there are plenty of other women on the show like Mariah Dillard, Priscilla Ridley, Candace Miller and Patricia Wilson, but the true triad would be Claire Temple, Misty Knight and Reva Connors.

SPOILER ALERT. If you haven't watched the season yet, you might not want to read the rest of this, as what transpires is factored into my choices.

My Votes
Wedding Proposal = Claire Temple
Bedroom Invitation = Misty Knight
Death Sentence = Reva Connors

The very first episode shows off Simone Missick's body in a great way, which was one hell of an impression. While Rosario Dawson and Parisa Fitz-Henley are both beautiful as well, I think Missick has the best body, which gives her a big bonus towards the Bed category. When you factor in personality, Reva would have been my Wed option if she didn't turn out to be a deceptive liar in the end. This immediately disqualified her and put her in the Dead slot, even though I dig girls in glasses and she comes off as the most intelligent, which is another big plus. If she's the Dead, then between Claire and Misty, I think Claire has the better personality to be married to. Both stand up for themselves and take no shit, but Claire is much more supportive and selfless. Misty has some trust issues and her career as a cop gives her a sort of dark side that gets in her way. All in all, Claire's got the looks and the personality, Misty's got the looks, and Reva shot herself in the foot by being a villain.

Those are my choices, but what would you pick for these three?
Who gets the wedding ring, who gets the wild night of passion and who gets the guillotine?
Tell us who you picked for what in the comments below as well as suggestions for the next edition!

6 FLICKS PICKS

Which films make the cut?

6. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back — Ironically enough, I would have to go back, because I never saw the first one. It looked like a generic soulless action movie from the trailers, so I didn't bother with it, but since it came out, I've heard some good things. As such, I would need to check that out first before going to see the sequel, but this is a very limited month and it edges out Kevin Hart: What Now? because comedy specials in a movie theater always feels weird to me, and I can't give Max Steel the last spot as it looks so childish.

5. American Pastoral — Ewan McGregor is underrated, Dakota Fanning has a ton of talent, Jennifer Connelly is still gorgeous and I'm sure she'll be great as well, and the tone of the trailer was nice and eerie, so again, on a limited month, this suddenly gets the #5 spot. If this were the summer, it probably wouldn't make the list until I heard some buzz, which I haven't yet.

4. The Birth of a Nation — Putting all of the controversy aside, this could be one of the biggest and most important movies of the year when it comes to the Academy Awards, so it's almost a must-see.

3. The Girl on the Train — I still don't have a clue what the hell this movie is about (although I'm assuming some girl is on some train at some point) and I like it that way. A few short synopses and being told it's "the next Gone Girl" and I'm intrigued.

2. The Accountant — Ben Affleck as a hitman with crazy intelligence? Yeah, I'm in.

1. Inferno — I loved The Da Vinci Code and while Angels & Demons didn't measure up quite the same, I enjoyed that a lot as well, so Inferno is the only movie out of this list I knew for sure I'll be checking out months ago. For a point in time, it was just this film and Gambit on my list for October, but we all see how the Ragin' Cajun turned out, so that leaves Tom Hanks and hopefully not that weird ass haircut from the first film.

Big Brother Over the Top Cast First Impressions & BBOTT Winner Predictions

Posted by Anthony Mango - Tuesday, September 27, 2016

Directly on the heels of the finale for season 18 of Big Brother, another season is starting, although there are a few changes to the formula. This isn't the official 19th season (although it may be counted as such in the future) and it's referred to as Big Brother: Over the Top as well as airing on CBS All Access—the network's online-exclusive platform. The same formula should be applicable where a new group of houseguests from all sorts of different backgrounds and different personalities will compete for a chance to win some cash, but instead of the standard $500,000 prize, the smaller season means they can get away with it just being $250,000. For the past few years, I've been making it a point to give my initial perspective on the cast members before the season has officially started, as well as my predictions for what's to come.

Meet the cast of Big Brother: Over the Top - #BBOTT 2016

Keep in mind that I'm usually terrible about this, as it revolves around the most basic information out there, and the show revolves around twists that can change the game up at any time. Even when it comes to my favorites and those who I dislike, I tend to change my mind at different points when they prove me wrong one way or the other. Definitely don't place any bets in Las Vegas on what is down below—even when it comes to who I think the jerks and the people I'd be rooting for will end up being!

Alex Willett

Age: 25
Hometown: Grandbury, TX
Current City: Grandbury, TX
Occupation: Animation designer

Three adjectives that describe you: Determined, creative, and perceptive.

Favorite activities: Playing The Settlers Of Catan and lifting heavy at the gym. I'm goal oriented and being fit is big to me. And playing piano; I took lessons for eight years.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
100-percent not having access to a "mental escape," having no books, phones, articles, or games as a means to relax. Also, no communication with family will be tough.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Connect with people on different "layers":
Layer 3 ("The crazies") - People I don't like (aka my main targets).
Layer 2 (4-5 people I vibe with) - Manipulate them to make moves for me.
Layer 1 (1-2 people I 90-percent deeply trust) - Who I talk crazy strategy with.
Once layers are set up, I can be a strategic power player.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Dan Gheesling! Season 10, Dan was so likeable and smart. He elevated the game with his strategy and his funeral was jaw dropping. Like, everyone bow down to Dan please. Least is James Huling from Season 18. I can't stand how he and everyone else this season wants to make a decision as a house vote. PLAY THE GAME! Not just get to jury.

What would you take into the house, and why?
The entire Harry Potter book series, a treadmill for endorphins because I'll need them if people piss me off, and a hairstylist, in case my extensions get ratchet.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I can do flips! Was a competitive gymnast with Nastia Lukin back in the day.
2. I ate McDonald's for every meal to get all the Pokémon toys once.
3. I've competed in races like Tough Mudder and beat all the boys.
4. I've been to Europe five times and visited over 13 countries.
5. I have to drink energy drinks before movies because I don't have the attention span.

Danielle Lickey

Age: 23
Hometown: Visalia, CA
Current City: Visalia, CA
Occupation: Preschool teacher

Three adjectives that describe you: Competitive, sarcastic, and a leader.
Favorite activities: Playing flag-football, cooking, and photography.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Being away from my son. I've never been away from him for more than five days. He's my best friend, my right-hand man, and my motivation.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
I plan on being a good player in competitions and making myself someone worth aligning with. I plan on finding one or two people I am 100-percent loyal to. I hope to have a good social game and not be afraid to make BIG moves.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
I'd liked Derrick Levasseur's gameplay from Season 16. He played a smart, loyal game and was always three steps ahead.

I liked Zakiyah Everette from Season 18 the least. She should have used the position more with the guys and played them to get ahead.

What would you take into the house, and why?
Picture of my son because I'll miss him, camera because I would want memories to bring home with me, and someone to thread my eyebrows.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I am very obsessed with Harry Potter.
2. I have seen EVERY episode of Friends, like, 20 times.
3. I play flag football.
4. I go to Disneyland at least once a month.
5. I am the definition of expect the unexpected!

Justin Duncan

Age: 27
Hometown: New Orleans, LA
Current City: New Orleans, LA
Occupation: Seafood restaurant owner

Three adjectives that describe you: Rambunctious, down to earth, and vocal.
Favorite activities: Fishing, sculpting, and writing.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Being away from my family and the city of New Orleans because I've never been away that long.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Win America. Become friends with everyone. Win the challenges. Do whatever I have to in order to win Big Brother.

What would you take into the house, and why?
Snacks.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I sing everything.
2. I like to get my groove on.
3. I'm very random.
4. Can have fun at any time. I'm an instant party.
5. I'm ready for whatever!

Kryssie Ridolfi

Age: 31
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Current City: Schaumburg, IL
Occupation: Waitress

Three adjectives that describe you: Sassy, loudmouth, and charming.

Favorite activities: Making music, lifting weights, and cooking.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Walking away from my band Evil Engine at such a crucial point. Our guitarist just abruptly quit after a huge soap-opera quality lie came to light, and we're rebuilding from the ground up while keeping momentum.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
I'm hilarious and manipulative, just the right blend of both. I plan to use both of those traits seamlessly to gain trust and scoot circumstances around to my favor every week.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Casey Turner from Season 11 is by far my favorite. He didn't get enough of a chance to charm the world. ROBBED. Jessie Goddarz from Season 11 bothered me a lot. I work out at a hardcore bodybuilding/power-lifting gym and I feel like he fit the stereotype of the self-absorbed meathead. They aren't all like that.

What would you take into the house, and why?
I need a notebook to write lyrics and strategize, a couple dumbbells to maintain my sanity, and a dead-lift platform and squat rack!

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I belch loudly and robustly.
2. I became a singer by accident.
3. I have an enormous collection of horror movie memorabilia.
4. My Simpsons trivia knowledge is scarily thorough.

Hometown: Augusta, GA
Current City: Augusta, GA
Occupation: Foreman of a tree removal company

Three adjectives that describe you: Outgoing, funny, and loving.

Favorite activities: Canoeing, camping, and ATV-ing.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Being away from family for so long and not being able to see what's going on in the outside world through social media or television.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Go with the flow, make plenty of friends, be strong in competitions.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Donny Thompson from Season 16. He's just a good ole boy. He's funny and outgoing and he's real. Least favorite is Devin Shepherd because he was deceitful. He changed like the wind and lied a lot. Basically, I don't like people who are arrogant.

What would you take into the house, and why?
I don't really have an answer for this question. I don't really need anything but myself.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I'm a three-time Redneck Olympic champ.
2. I'm a very good problem-solver. When something's broke, I can fix it with whatever's laying around.
3. I have over 3,000 friends on Facebook and I use it as a way to get laughs.
4. I am the president of a canoe club.
5. I have little videos I make called "Cornbread's Redneck Mobile News" on YouTube.

Monte Massongill

Age: 25
Hometown: Olive Branch, MS
Current City: Olive Branch, MS
Occupation: Engineer associate

Three adjectives that describe you: Leader, strong, and stubborn.

Favorite activities: Sports, being outdoors, and working out.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
The unknowns. Who can I trust? Who is a threat? Who is gonna do whatever it takes? Constant evaluation of the situation.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
I always have a plan. I can play dumb to some people. I am also very smart and capable of deep-thinking. I believe I could relate to everyone in some way.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Season 12, I seemed to like Hayden Moss at first. Good guy who seemed to have a quiet confidence. I did not like Enzo Palumbo. I suppose my Southern influence made me not like a Jersey guy.

What would you take into the house, and why?
Weights, healthy food, and TV.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I was born in Nashville and moved seven times.
2. I've been to Montana twice.
3. I had a serious injury at FedEx and I'm lucky to have my hand.
4. I put a guy in a seizure by a fart.
5. I play drums and I golf left-handed, but write and throw right-handed

Morgan Willett

Age: 22
Hometown: Granbury, TX
Current City: Austin, TX
Occupation: Publicist

Three adjectives that describe you: Sassy, honest, and talkative.

Favorite activities: Online sale shopping, painting, binge-watching TV.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Focusing on my game and myself. I feel like it will be so easy to get wrapped up in everyone's drama, but I want to remember I'm here to win. Plus, not having a phone will suck.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Charm 'em then cut 'em. I plan on using my Southern cheerleader charm to win people over and get them to love me, but when it comes to being cutthroat, I'm not scared. I'm putting myself first, I ain't afraid to tell it like it is, either.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
The most, Frankie Grande and Nicole Franzel from Season 16. Frankie because he brought so much energy to the house—I love energetic people!—and I loved Nicole because she represented for all the small-town sisters and she reminded me a lot of myself.

The least is Victoria Rafaeli from Season 16. Girl didn't do a dang thing! She viewed herself as a princess and just got used and carried to the end. Gag me! I'm a fighter and hate hiding behind others and being viewed as just a pretty face.

What would you take into the house, and why?
A teasing comb because I hate flat hair, a two-month supply of Red Bull because I'm addicted to caffeine… literally, and legit running shoes because I plan on winning all the challenges.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I've had abs since I was little and they won't go away.
2. I can paint portraits really well.
3. I can rap all of Lil Wayne's "Right Above It" like a PRO.
4. I interviewed Jennifer Garner at a movie premiere.
5. At a football game, I met Matthew McConaughey and his kids.

Neeley Jackson

Age: 33
Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
Current City: Fort Worth, TX
Occupation: Sales associate

Three adjectives that describe you: Outgoing, outspoken, and fun.

Favorite activities: Working out, shopping, and going to movies.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
The biggest thing will probably be that I am located away from the outside world. No Instagram or Facebook, and I have to deal with the same crazies everyday.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
My strategy is to play down my intellect, and to be the fun and sexy one. I am not going to show my athleticism.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Most: Janelle Pierzina from Seasons 6, 7, and 15 because she was strong, outspoken, and willing to do whatever to win.

Least: Ian Terry from Season 14 because he was too whiny and, basically, a big baby the entire season.

What would you take into the house, and why?
1. My wigs: I can be extremely jazzy.
2. My music: I live through music.
3. My dog: He is my life.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I got a full scholarship to college.
2. I won 2nd in my high-school class.
3. I have won awards for hula hooping.

Scott Dennis

Age: 24
Hometown: Bangor, ME
Current City: Bangor, ME
Occupation: Debt collector

Three adjectives that describe you: Honest, persistent, and strategic.

Favorite activities: Tennis, chess, and poker.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
People overreacting to things I said or did. Legitimate strategy is always cruel and necessary to win the prize and I am not taking half measures.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
I am positive. You will see me forming three-person alliances. I feel three is the most stable alliance size. If I can merge two three-person alliances to make a five-person alliance, then my win condition is met.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
To avoid a top five answer, I gotta go with Danielle Reyes from Seasons 3 and 7. She had strategy, heart, and a lot of personality.

I didn't like Josh Welch from Season 9. He was horrible to so many women that season. He had a terrible smug attitude when he was at his best.

What would you take into the house, and why?
Deck of cards for games and photos of my family.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. My two lifelong dreams are to raise a family and play Big Brother.
2. My high-school chess team came in 1st and 2nd all four years.
3. I am a virgin and have only had three girlfriends.
4. I sweat a lot.

Shane Chapman

Age: 24
Hometown: Brevard, NC
Current City: Pisgah Forest, NC

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Figuring out who I can trust and be friends with.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Be friends with everyone, find a person I can trust, and try slowly to take people out.

What would you take into the house, and why?
Chewing tobacco and Xbox live. I have dip in my mouth all day. When I came home, I play Xbox with my best friend in Florida two hours a night.

2. My eyes suck and I can't see six feet away without contacts.
3. I have sleepwalked outside onto our deck.
4. I was almost a golf pro, but decided not to become one.
5. I hiked 600 miles to break up with my girlfriend at the time.

Shelby Stockton

Age: 24
Hometown: Fountain Hills, AZ
Current City: Simi Valley, CA
Occupation: Recent law-school graduate

Three adjectives that describe you: Goofy, stubborn, and obnoxious.

Favorite activities: Classical piano, eating, I forgot what hobbies I have because I spent 14+ hours a day in the library this summer.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Having to eat slop. I am not sure I can stomach it.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Fly under the radar and avoid alliances for the first few weeks, pretend I work as a waitress, and generally, pretend to be dumb.

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Most: I like Hayden Moss from Season 12 because he is hot and went to ASU.

Least: I don't like Britney Haynes and Monet Stunson from Season 12 because they just sit around talking smack all day.

What would you take into the house, and why?
Makeup, a Harry Potter book because I will always love Harry Potter, and a secret stash of junk food because I don't want to share.

Fun facts about yourself:
I have hyperhidrosis (aka really sweaty hands and feet).
I won a spelling bee in 7th grade.
I used to have a creepy laugh in middle school and it earned me the name "the Ghost."
I am obsessed with barbecue sauce.
I've never seen Star Wars, The Godfather, or Scarface.

Whitney Hogg

Age: 21
Hometown: Whiteburgs, KY
Current City: Whiteburgs, KY
Occupation: Medical assistant

Three adjectives that describe you: Southern, bubbly, and passionate.

Favorite activities: Spending time with family, sleeping, and traveling to different places.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house?
Being away from home. Family is everything. Without them, I would have nothing. Do you have a strategy for winning the game? Be myself, lie when I have to, and make people fall in love with innocent, little ol' me!

Which Big Brother Houseguests do you like the most and least?
Janelle Pierzina from Seasons 6, 7, and 15 was amazing! She was a beast at comps and managed to stay in the house even when she was hated.

Amanda Zuckerman from Season 15 was SO annoying! She was loud and everything was always about her. She was a crybaby when things didn't go her way.

What would you take into the house, and why?
A fan because I can't sleep without one, a journal to write everything down, and a picture of my family. They keep me going.

Fun facts about yourself:
1. I've never been any further west than Western Kentucky.
2. I know every word to every Shania Twain song.
3. I can cook the meanest chicken casserole.
4. If I could have any job in the world it would be a talk show host.
5. I have had the same friends since Pre-K.

MY THOUGHTS / PREDICTIONS

This cast screams "B-squad" and I really don't like how they're desperate to use the "over the top" gimmick phrase. The more you claim that you're crazy and wild, the less interesting you probably are, and everyone here seems either boring or like they're trying too hard.

My Favorites = Danielle, Morgan

The Lovable One / America's Favorite = Alex or maybe Whitney for the women, Monte for the men

The Confrontational One / Villain = Neeley and Shelby already know that they are going to be confrontational, so let's just give the win to them. Kryssie, on the other hand, I think might be acting. She could definitely be up there as far as starting arguments, but I feel like she doesn't have as much of a mean streak in her in comparison.

Biggest Physical Threats = Morgan for the women (and perhaps overall), Monte for the men

Biggest Mental Threat = Kryssie or Shelby....I'm not falling into the Scott trap.

Most Attractive = For my personal tastes, Shelby is the most attractive at a first glance, but her laugh is awful and her personality might be even worse. Danielle and Morgan would probably be my major picks. Whitney would be so much cuter if it weren't for her voice—I'm just not into the southern belle thing.

The Showmance = Shane or Monte with one of the Willett girls (Alex most likely)

The Bromance = I don't think we'll have a strong one this year

Most Annoying = Cornbread, Neeley, Shelby's laugh, Whitney's voice, Justin

The Crybaby = Whitney, Scott

The Dumb Jock = Monte

The Weakest Link = Cornbread, Whitney, Scott

Winner Potentials = Morgan for the women, Shane for the men

They also had mentioned either Jason Roy or Jozea Flores would be returning to the game. I wasn't a fan of either of them during their seasons, so...not digging that aspect. Can't we have Zach Rance or Nick Uhas or anyone else who was interesting but not annoying?

Throughout the season, you can hit me up on Twitter @ToeKneeManGo to get my thoughts on Big Brother as it is happening and as I'm watching the live feeds.
