A recent fight in Texas over a married woman put two men in the hospital. Eugene Thompson, the woman's live-in boyfriend, was in his girlfriend's home when she phoned her distant husband. When the husband came home to eject Thompson, Thompson fled to his bedroom and warned the other man to leave.
"I heard him heading to the bedroom where I was," Thompson said, "so I jumped in the closet and I grabbed one of my replica swords, and I pulled it out and stood at the doorway, and he was coming down the hallway at me while I was yelling, 'Go away, you don't live here,' and he just walked right into the point of the sword, I don't know if he thought it was a toy."

After being stabbed and locked out of the home, the husband continued trying to break in. He was stabbed twice more by the Master Sword wielder before smashing a flower pot over Thompson's head. The attacker took a trip to the hospital for very serious treatment, while Thompson needed a good stitching. Fortunately, the woman was unhurt. As to why she called the husband in the first place, it seems to be a mystery. Any theories, you guys?

The Dace Man
- Sunday, March 2, 2014
Hey, Hey, Hey, Dacetacular nation! Coming to you with news hot off the presses and right from the 86th Annual Academy Awards, because after all it is Oscars night! Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres entered history books tonight for two reasons. One, she legitimately brought Twitter to its knees and crashed the social media giant, and two, she took the most kickass selfie of all time. Gathering the likes of Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Angelina Jolie, and many other A-listers. She posted the photo to Twitter and sent the Internet into a jealous buzz, with the pic being retweeted more than 1 million times, breaking the previous record set by Barack Obama after his reelection. DeGeneres then would come out and take credit along with the Academy's Twitter site for crashing Twitter. Check out the awesome tweet from this year's host on her Twitter page.

The Dace Man
- Saturday, March 1, 2014
The Internet certainly has its set of stars that are world renowned. Of those stars, we've seen a rise of talented, witty, and beautiful women who have taken the Internet by storm. Join me, Chris "The Dace Man" Dace over the course of the next few weeks as we crown the 2014 Internet Goddess.
This week we take a look at the first bracket in our Heavenly Sixteen. We saw in round one Justine bumped Amy Walker and Tayryn Southern was ousted by legendary Jess Nigri. Voting ends for the Heavenly Sixteen March 7th!
Justine Ezarik (Life Caster)
On May 29, 2007, live on Justin.tv, a new Internet queen was born. Justine took to the airwaves in a nonprofit stream that followed her everyday life known as iJustine. Since then she has had five YouTube channels with more than 2,500 videos. She has made the transition over the years from the Internet to television and had guest roles on shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Criminal Minds, and Vampire Diaries. Still going strong on YouTube today, she has more than 1.5 million subscribers and still pumps out fresh new content even as she dabbles in Hollywood. She was one of the first broadcasters to hit the airwaves on Justin.tv and for that we welcome Justine to the 2014 Internet Goddess Tournament!
Jessica Nigri (Cosplay, Vlogger)
If you are an avid follower of Cosplay—hell, even if you know nothing about cosplay—you would know Jessica Nigri. She's that really attractive girl who shows up on your Facebook once or twice a day. At the young age of 24, she has taken the Internet and convention worlds by storm by dressing as the hottest, nerdiest girl possible. Think of one of your favorite female characters from a video game or comic book series, and chances are Jessica Nigri has graced a convention as said character. Without a shadow of a doubt Jessica Nigri has earned a spot in the 2014 Internet Goddess Tournament.
Who wins this bracket in the Heavenly Sixteen? Justine Ezarik or Jessica Nigri?
