Week in Geek #75: Penguin & Alfred Cast in Batman and More

Posted by Anthony Mango Sunday, November 10, 2019
Welcome to another edition of WEEK IN GEEK here at Fanboys Anonymous—a rundown of some of the events, news and stories that went down over the past few days in the geek culture spectrum.

This week in geek culture Fanboys Anonymous nerd recap

Here are some of the topics I felt like voicing my opinions about:

Andy Serkis is Alfred Pennyworth / Colin Farrell for Penguin

Serkis is Alfred?? Farrell is going to possibly be Penguin?? Don't they kind of seem flipped??

I don't know. The more the casting for this movie goes on, the more worried about this film I'm getting.

70s Japanese Spider-Man Set for Into the Spider-Verse Sequel

As much as that show was atrocious, it's exactly the type of thing to make fun of in this new film. I'm 100% down.

Joker is the Most Profitable Superhero Film of All Time

Due to its low budget and big box office return, Joker is top of the food chain for making the most money in relation to its expenses. That's awesome!

Slow News Week

This was another week with pretty much nothing going on that stood out to me to talk about. Sorry! As always, if I missed something you'd like me to address, leave a comment and I'll respond.
