The bad news for Marvel's Ant-Man film just keeps rolling in, as Deadline is reporting that the movie has lost three of its actors in Matt Gerard, Kevin Weisman, and Patrick Wilson. There is no confirmation that this is due to the Edgar Wright split, although it's pretty easy to speculate about that, isn't it?
I've previously gone on record of saying that I thought Ant-Man was doomed to begin with and that nothing has ever given me a reason to believe that it would succeed other than the test footage and the track record that Marvel has. This series of "scheduling conflicts" or whatever the case may be that has led to more dropouts is yet another point in the column of pessimism.
What do you think? Is Marvel just delaying the inevitable failure of Ant-Man or is this actually going to turn out to be a situation where this is all better for the movie in the long run?
