Deadpool Movie News, Spoilers and Casting
Hey there Internet readers! Chris Dace back with some comic book news. Remember eons ago, more like 5 months 3 days, I wrote here on Fanboys Anonymous that my good pal Wade Wilson was tying the knot in April 2014? If you don't remember, check out the article Deadpool's Gettin' Married in Deadpool #27 Comic here on Fanboys Anonymous. Smile and look at the camera, even though this is a blog! Anywho cheap plugs and page hits aside, it's May and the wild, fourth-wall-breaking son of a gun is hitched! Be advised: There are spoilers if you're behind the times and can't read the issues when they debut!

Now just who was the lucky lass to tie down the hunk of really burnt and beaten meat known as Deadpool? Was it the fierce pilot with marvelous powers, Ms. Marver…err…I mean Captain Marvel? If it was Ms. Marvel, Wade would be married to a stretchy 16-year-old girl from New Jersey. Can you say hashtag creepy? Was it the green 'roided-up she beast, She-Hulk? How 'bout the promiscuous gotta-steal-Peter-Parker-from-Mary-Jane, Black Cat? The answer to all of them is no, even though they are extremely green with envy, one more literal than the others.

That bring us to the ultimate question: who did marry Wade, and was it all an elaborate scheme for more comic sales? The answer is yes, it was an elaborate scheme for more comic sales. The other answer to the Mrs. Wilson question is…drum roll…Shiklah, Queen of the Undead! Deadpool finally made it with Death. Well played Marvel, well played.

On top of our favorite Merc with a Mouth tying the knot, Marvel also went and broke a Guinness World Record. With 232 Marvel characters gracing the cover of Deadpool #27, Guinness determined that of the 232, 224 were easily identifiable by the public, thus warranting the title of Most Comic Book Characters on the Cover of a Single Issue. Well congrats Wade and Marvel on these historic achievements! I'm gonna go get a chimichanga.

As always, check back regularly to see what Chris "The Dace Man" Dace is looking at (and no, not just porn), as well as all of the other bloggers here at Fanboys Anonymous. Remember, keyboard warriors: leave your feedback! Until the next time, for the few, the proud, and, of course, the Dacetacular, grab a beer—and in this case a soul mate. Ha! Get it? SOUL Mate…Queen of the Undead…? Never mind—and check out what's going on here in the Dace-Sphere. See ya next time!
