Fanboys Anonymous

The Internet certainly has its set of stars that are world renowned. Of those stars, we've seen a rise of talented, witty, and beautiful women who have taken the Internet by storm. Join me, Chris "The Dace Man" Dace over the course of the next few weeks as we crown the 2014 Internet Goddess. 

This week we take a look at Round One of the tournament and highlight the contestants! In this round we have Jessica Lee Rose squaring off with Ciji Thorton, and Andrea Russett going toe-to-toe with Jessica Smiles. Check out their spotlighted profiles below and vote. Voting ends for Round One on February 28th, 2014!

Round 1 (A)

Jessica Lee Rose (YouTube Personality, Actress)

Jessica Lee Rose, also known as lonelygirl15, gained Internet stardom in mid 2006 and from there took on the big screen. She appeared on YouTube as a convincing girl named Bree who was going through the typical teenage drama. Jessica posted videos up until August 2007, when Bree was killed off so Jessica could pursue a role on ABC Family's Greek. Since Rose's departure from YouTube, she has been actively seeking roles for both the big and small screen. Nevertheless, Rose is a YouTube legend and has sparked many VLogs since her initial run from 2006 to 2007. She has rightfully earned her spot to be crowned Fanboys Anonymous's 2014 Internet Goddess.


Ciji Thornton (YouTube Personality)

Better known as StarSlay3r, Ciji busted onto our computer monitors in 2006 when she grabbed the attention of MTV for being one of the Top 10 Guitar Hero Players in the CPL Tournament held in Dallas, TX. She has been a recognized gamer for the past six years after dominating several Guitar Hero and Rockband competitions. She has also appeared on FOX and MSNBC and been featured on many Internet websites such as IGN. Thornton continues to post videos to YouTube as well as participate in many fundraising campaigns, which is why she's landed on Fanboys Anonymous's 2014 Internet Goddess Tournament!

Andrea Russett (YouTube Personality)


Better known as GETTOxFABxFOREVER, Andrea is another one of the lovely YouTube personalities who has garnered a cult following. She's known for posting Vlogs as well as music videos of herself lip-syncing to many of pop pulture's top hits. With over 800,000 subscribers and hundreds of videos, she is still an active user on YouTube and interacts with her fans on a regular basis. She also acts as a video DJ and currently resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Russett's biggest claim to fame is having her video appear in the Justin Beiber movie Never Say Never. Due to her success she has been nominated for social media awards and has also landed herself a spot on the 2014 Fanboys Anonymous's Internet Goddess Award! Cheers!


Jessi Smiles (Vine & YouTube Personality)

Ever heard of a thing called Vine? If you have, then you most likely know Jessi Smiles. Also known as Jessica Vazquez, Jessi  has blown up our Vines with several 30-second clips that will make you giggle each time. She has since then broadened her horizons to a YouTube Channel as well as appearing in an Epic Rap Battles of History video as Joan of Arc. Recently, Jessi has been caught up in some controversy with fellow Vine-er and ex-boyfriend Curtis Lepore. Although these days most people are focused on the controversy and have effectively taken sides in the war between the two parties, we here at Fanboys Anonymous remain neutral and choose to recognize Vazquez for her Internet accomplishments. Besides, this is a tournament of the nerds so you guys decide. Is Jessi Smiles worthy of the 2014 Internet Goddess Award?
