Batman: Arkham Knight Video Game Announced

Posted by Jeff Penner Tuesday, March 4, 2014
The Batman: Arkham video game series is returning for one more (final?) kick at the can. The game series took the freeflow combat game to new levels with Arkham Asylum and made lightning strike twice with 2011's follow-up, Arkham City. The surprise ending to City makes me wonder if this could be the final chapter in the adventures of this version of Batman.

The game will most likely release in October, as has been the series' history and will be a direct sequel to Arkham City. The release is set for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The Batmobile will finally be a larger part of gameplay, as hinted at by the game's imagery. The storyline will feature Batman's rogues gallery including Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more.

Is anyone else as excited as I am?
