Microsoft has been hinting at a new live action trailer for Halo 5: Guardians for the last week or so, and tonight that trailer finally premiered during the season finale of The Walking Dead. The trailer showed the new Spartan Locke confronting a badly injured Master Chief in the midst of some sort of widespread destruction and accusing him of failing as humanity's savior. Locke pointed his pistol at Master Chief and claimed he would have to step up and save humanity from Chief. Then the hashtag #HuntTheTruth appeared, followed by this image:
That's right. Halo 5: Guardians will be released on October 27! Many fans - myself included - expected the game to follow the typical Halo trend with a November release, so this is a bit of a surprise. Are you excited for Halo 5?
