In excitement for the upcoming movie, and rediscovery of my love for the character, I designed an animated version of the New 52 Flash. This is a great time to become a comics fan - there's just so much good material out there, and such a rich history behind it. More fan art to come!
The Flash remains one of my all-time favorites of DC's superheroes. Honestly, all it took was his character in JL/JLU to get me hooked! If you haven't read Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert's
Flashpoint, definitely check it out when you get the chance. It's a story that's accessible to all readers - whether you're a long-time comics fan or not, there's something there for everyone. It's the story that sets up the New 52, and dives into deeper aspects of the Flash we haven't seen before. There's also going to be an animated feature coming out July 30, 2013, called
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, directed by Jay Oliva (
The Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 and 2) and produced by James Tucker (
Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Alan Burnett (
Batman: The Animated Series).
