BIOGRAPHY
Merve (pronounced Mer-vay), was born in Turkey in 1985. After three years, she and her family moved away to New York in search of the American Dream. Most of her life was spent in the suburbia of Long Island, but due to some events in her life, she moved to Istanbul, Turkey in 2005. Starting school at Stony Brook University as a pre-med major, she ended up graduating at Koc University in Turkey as a psychology major. Even though she tries to get away from psychology, the more she runs away, the more she always ends up smack in the middle of it.
Her dream is to become a writer like Virginia Woolf or J.K. Rowling (sounds boring, I guess!) What's interesting is that she did her master's thesis in Cultural Studies about video games and childhood.
Along with her work for Fanboys, she is also working on her book and writing for her blog. She has been a member of the team since November of 2013.

Donnie Darko, Forrest Gump, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Series, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, A Clockwork Orange, and all Quentin Tarantino movies.

Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Need for Speed, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Halo 2, Minecraft, GTA San Andreas, Fallout and Lord of the Rings Online.
