GameStop Offering Discount on The Last of Us Remastered With Trade-In of PS3 Version | Fanboys Anonymous
The Last of Us was one of the PlayStation 3's most popular games, and with the release of The Last of Us Remastered on PlayStation 4 coming up on July 29, many gamers were disappointed when Sony and Naughty Dog announced there would be no discount for owners of the PS3 version of the game who wished to upgrade. Luckily GameStop has decided to step in and change that.

Between July 27 and August 2, GameStop will cut the price of the game in half for anyone trading in the PS3 version, knocking it down from $50 to $25. That's an awesome deal and since the price was the main reason I didn't want to get the PS4 version before, nothing's really stopping me now. The game looked gorgeous on PS3, yet Naughty Dog somehow made it look so much better on the PS4. With the excellent Left Behind DLC included as well, it's really hard to pass this one up.

What do you guys think? For anyone who owns the PS3 version of The Last of Us, are you more likely to upgrade now? If you've never played the game at all, are you considering diving in with the PS4 version? Let us know in the comments!
